Fletcher's Farm Haunted Halloween 2026
Choose your scare level and enter Fletcher's Farm if you dare. The daytime low-level trail has no actors, while the medium-level nights feature the same trail and actors without jump scares. For those ready for the full experience, the high-level nights promise an intense haunted adventure with nothing held back.
Time: Medium-level scares: October 9 and 10, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. | High-level scares: October 16, 17, 23 and 24, 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. | Low-level scares: October 23 and 24, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Deeds of the Dungarvon
Follow guide Fiona Finnegan into an evening of howls, history and horror inspired by the legendary Dungarvon Whooper. Meet the Phantom Cook, trade barbs with rugged lumbermen from long ago and encounter trapper George Brown as he hunts the elusive Eastern Panther. The deeper the tale goes, the harder it becomes to tell whether the danger is beast, man or something beyond explanation.

Miramichi Striper Cup Fall Shootout
Anglers take to the water for an exciting fall edition of the Miramichi Striper Cup. Teams of up to four will compete in a one-day fishing event, weighing up to two striped bass for a chance to be crowned Fall Shootout champions and win the $10,000 top prize.
Dare to Enter... The Unleashed: A Haunted House Experience
Dare to enter a haunted house in downtown Chatham, where visitors can choose the level of fright that suits their group. A gentler scare zone welcomes younger children, while a high-intensity experience awaits those ready for a bigger thrill. Admission supports the Miramichi SPCA.

Haunted Tales in the Cemetery
Bring a lawn chair, a flashlight and your courage for spine-tingling stories in a centuries-old cemetery. Storyteller Calum Lykan leads guests from the interpretive centre into the shadows, where resident spirits may be closer than expected. Complimentary hot chocolate is included.

Trunk or Treat
Families with elementary-aged children and younger are invited to enjoy a safe and festive afternoon of Halloween fun in The Square. Children can collect treats from 30 creatively decorated vehicles during reserved half-hour time slots. Presented by The Point Church in partnership with the City of Miramichi and the Downtown Newcastle Business District.
Time: 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Half-hour time slots are available.

Boo in the Park

Scottish Bedtime Stories: Not for the Faint of Heart
Settle in for a distinctly Scottish Halloween evening filled with ghosts, ghouls, foul deeds and gruesome encounters. Storyteller Calum Lykan trades Scotland's gentler legends for darker tales crafted for guests who enjoy history with a chilling edge. Light refreshments and a treat bag are included.
