There will be traditional Scottish music (who doesn’t love the bag pipes?), traditional dishes, vendors, celidh, and dancing. For the full schedule, see below: 17 August: The Tartan Banquet will be held at the Riverside Entertainment Centre, 2546 King George Hwy. There will be entertainment by Fochaber’s Fiddlers who have travelled here from Scotland. Haggis will be served at the buffet with roast beef and seafood. 18 August : 8pm-1am With an admission fee of $10.00, you can enjoy licensed entertainment featuring the Scottish Paul McKenna Band at the Riverside Entertainment Centre. All admission proceeds go to the Miramichi S.P.C.A. 19 August : 10 am: Kirk’in of the Tartan Memorial Church Service & Reception on Sunday Morning @ St. Andrew’s United Church, 188 Wellington St 2-4:30pm: Free admission to McDonald’s Farm (Route 11, Bartibog Bridge) for all feature Moncton Pipes/Drums, Fochaber’s Fiddlers and Barbeque to help wrap up the weekend with haggis sausages, burgers, hotdogs, and drinks.
