The Central New Brunswick Woodmen’s Museum is located in the Geographical Centre of the Province of New Brunswick, at Boiestown. Situated in the heartland of the lumbering industry, this 15 acre site provides insight into the vibrant and colorful lives of the woodsmen, their families, and the community. The Museum will be hosting its annual STIHL Timbersports competition on August 19th.

This competition features a variety of exciting events including the springboard chop, the hot saw and the axe throw. This is a great event for the entire family that displays part of the heritage of New Brunswick!  Hot dogs and hamburgers will be available for purchase.  There are various categories for the competition including best lumberjack, lumberjill and a fun competition for the kids! August 20 – Be a Lumberjack! 
Professional coaches will be on site all day long to help you hone your woodmen’s skills such as axe throwing, log rolling, the art of the cross cut and much more! Big Jim will also be on site spinning tales of the Canadian Lumberjack.
