Canada Day Celebrations
Come and celebrate our nation’s birthday in Atlantic Canada’s Great Outdoors!
Join in on the Rock n’ Roll Festival festivities! There will be an adults only fireworks party zone in the tent on the water-front with DJ Planet Zee kicking off at 8pm, the celebration of lights on the river will begin at 10:00pm and the fireworks will begin at 10:30pm.
As part of the Rock n’ Roll Festival there will be live Entertainment and Children’s Activities 12:00 – 4:00 (Queen Elizabeth Park), a Car Owner’s Meet and Greet. 6:00pm (Under the tent).
Then, dance the night away with Raglan Road at the Adult Dance, admission $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Ages 19+ Gates open at 8:30pm dance starts 9:30pm-1:30am
Don’t forget your wallet for the sidewalk sale around the square starting at 9:00am, plus you’ll get to admire classic vehicles with the “Show off your baby” Car Show around the Square in New Castle also at 9:00am. Just in case you miss the “Show off your baby” show, the “Cruise around the river”, Antique Car Parade around the Miramichi River will begin at 5:00pm
For the kids: there will be live entertainment and children’s activities at Queen Elizabeth Park from 12:00pm-4:00pm and pictures with Skye and Chase (Paw Patrol) 1:00pm-4:00pm
Seeking live entertainment? There will be entertainment in the tent from 2:30pm-5:00pm; if you’re looking to kick off your Sunday shoes, join in for the Foot Loose Musical at James M. Hill Highschool Henderson St Chatham Tickets $20 7:00pm.
Saturdays’ adult dance will feature The Big Bad Party Band Admission $15 in advance $20 at the door ages 19+ Gates open at 8:30pm Dance starts at 9:30pm-1:30am. Tickets available at N&J Convenience and Goodie Shop restaurant.
The Village of Blackville will kick off their Canada Day celebrations on Saturday, June 30. There will be a breakfast at 7am-11am at the United Church Hall and from 1pm-3pm there will be G.W’s Truck Show & Shine at the Blackville Highschool.
At the Blackville municipal park there will be face-painting & games for the children from 4-6PM, an amateur woodsmen competition (Kettle boil, log split, axe throw, canoe races, wheelbarrow and fly-casting competitions from 4-8pm, a merchandise bingo at 6pm and live entertainment by Nowhere Road and Ladies of the River from 8PM-11PM
July 1st Canada Day!
In the City of Miramichi, observe the flag raising in town-square by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10 at 11:00am. Another great way to celebrate Canada Day is with a Free boat Rentals at French Fort Cove.

The Golden Oldie Car Show will be held at the Waterfront Parking Lot New Castle from 1:00pm-5:00pm,
The kids fun day activities will be held from 1:00pm 4:00pm. Kick off your Sunday shoes with the Foot Loose Musical at James M. Hill High-school at 7:00pm.
Wacky Water Sports Central New Brunswick Woodmen’s Museum is celebrating Canada Day featuring many events and activities for the whole family Enjoy face painting, photo booth, numerous water activities, yard sale, BBQ, Large Bouncy House, Scavenger Hunt, Live Entertainment, Cotton Candy, CAKE and So much more. Location Boiestown; Admission is $3 Starts at Noon- 3:00pm
Néguac Canada Day Celebrations will be held at the Néguac Municipal Park on Sunday, All Day Long.
The Village of Blackville will be hosting a strawberry social at the Father AA Mckinnon Hall from 12pm-2pm. The Canada Day parade will kick off at 3PM. At the Blackville Municipal Park, there will be a BBQ, a jumping castle and kids’ activities from 4-6PM with entertainment by Nowhere Road.
The Canada Days Concert at Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church will kick off 7:00pm, featuring Ceangal and a pack of local performers whom will be joyfully singing the evening away in celebration of this beautiful country! You will also have the opportunity to hear the musical stylings of local favourite, Susan Butler. A free will admission is accepted.
A Miramichi Art Core Exhibit will be held at the Loggie House in Chatham at 6:00pm
