The Central NB Woodmen’s Museum is getting ready for another year of exciting axe wielding competitions. The Central NB Lumberjack games hosts the only Masters Division in the province. Provincial, National and International Champions such as Marcel Dupuis will be competing in sports such as Cross-Cutting, Kettle Boiling and Axe Throwing. A Lumber Jill competition sees champion Melanie Bourque defend her title in Underhand Chopping, Bow Sawing, Stock Sawing and Axe throwing. The men take on the ladies in the spring board chop.
The day ends in one of the most thrilling events: the boom run on the pond. 11 year old champion Alyssa Casey will be taking on her father, Darren Casey, a pro log roller himself. You are guaranteed to be on the edge of your seat all day! Once the axes are retired, join in for a ham, potato scallop and baked bean supper.

Get your plaid gear ready to go to this exciting event and you could win best dressed lumber Jack or Jill.
